Hi AtlasStyler users
AtlasStyler 1.6 has new support to style WFS feature sources. I had
mainly tested it with Geoserver 2.0.2 and it basically works. Not yet
perfect, but a good start...
I just got a link to a deegree 3 WFS test server and tried it with
AtlasStyler. The result is promising, since it is basically possible to
access the WFS.
The AtlasStyler GUI still has problems with the fact that geometries are
not stored in a column called "the_geom" (a relict from AS Shapefile
history), and when the geometry type is not clearly defined as Point,
Line or Polygon. But these things will be fixed over time if users test
and give feedback.
See attached a screen-shot which shows that deegree 3 and AtlasStyler
can work together.
PS: A release note for GP and AS 1.6 will follow later today. 1.6 is
already availbale as stable on the webpage.
