Subject: [Gpg4win-announce] Gpg4win 1.9.1 BETA Version released

Hello,

we are pleased to announce that the second 1.9 Beta
release, "Gpg4win 1.9.1 BETA" is now available
for download.

NOTE: This release introduces Clipboard support by Kleopatra.
It is intended to drop WinPT entirely in 1.9.2 or 1.9.3 in favour
of the cross-platform and maintained product "Kleopatra".
Please provide feedback if you identify important features
of WinPT that are not available with Kleopatra or GPA (Clipboard
was a major one upto now).

The versions 1.9.x are intended for trying out and testing
the future major version 2.0.
Adressed audience are experienced crypto users and
system administrators.

Download is available via the usual download page:

You should carefully read and consider the hints
proveded there.


Short overview on changes compared to version 1.1:

- Kleopatra: The new certificate manage
  * Supports OpenPGP and S/MIME (x.509)
  * Could be used by other programs as a
    service for crypto dialogs.

- GpgEX replaces GpgEE as plugin for Internet Explorer.
  * uses Kleopatra for unified crypto dialogs.

- GpgOL: Comprehensive upadate
  * now supports also OpenPGP/MIME (instead of only "inline-PGP")
  * now supports also S/MIME
  * now uses Kleopatra for unified crypto dialogs

- Claws Mail: Updated to version 3.4.0


Short overview on changes compared to version 1.9.0 BETA:
--------------------------------------------------

- Claws Mail: Update from 3.1.0cvs370 to 3.4.0

- GpgOL: Now uses Icons (toolbar etc).

- Kleopatra:
  * Integrated test for potential execution problems
  * Verfification results now in a special dialog; applies
    similar appearance as KMail does
  * Sign/Encrypt: Dialog sequence has been reworked.
  * Audit-Log support
  * Progress bar when handling files
  * Clipboard support

Wir sind erfreut, die Download-Freigabe der zweiten
1.9 Beta Version, "Ggp4win 1.9.1 BETA", bekanntzugeben.

ZU BEACHTEN: Diese Version f?hrt die Unterst?tzung der
Zwischenablage via Kleopatra ein. Es ist geplant WinPT
ab Version 1.9.2 oder 1.9.3 nicht mehr mit Gpg4win auszuliefern
und stattdessen nur noch auf das Cross-Plattform und
gewartete Produkt "Kleopatra" zu setzen.
Bitte geben Sie R?ckmeldung, falls Sie wichtige Features
von WinPT identifzieren die weder in Kleoaptra noch in GPA
verf?gbar sind (Support f?r Zwischenablage war bis jetzt das
wichtigste).

Die Versionen 1.9.x dienen zum ausprobieren und testen
f?r die zuk?nftige Version 2.0.
Sie richten sich an erfahrene Krypto-Anwender sowie
an Adminstratoren.
