I tried this:

C:\Programme\GNU\GnuPG>gpgsm -K
gpgsm: error creating keybox `"C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Gpg4winUserA\Anwen
dungsdaten\gnupg"\pubring.kbx': Invalid argument
gpgsm: keyblock resource `"C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Gpg4winUserA\Anwendung
sdaten\gnupg"\pubring.kbx': Invalid argument

and I realized that my setting leftover causes the problem:

C:\Programme\GNU\GnuPG>echo %GNUPGHOME%
"C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Gpg4winUserA\Anwendungsdaten\gnupg"

In a fresh command shell where GNUPGHOME is not set it works (?):

C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Gpg4winUserA>gpgsm -K
gpgsm[1668]: can't connect to `C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Gpg4winUserA\Anwen
dungsdaten\gnupg\S.gpg-agent': No such file or directory
gpgsm: DBG: CreateProcess(detached), path=`C:\Programme\GNU\GnuPG\gpg-agent.exe'
 cmdline=`C:\Programme\GNU\GnuPG\gpg-agent.exe --daemon --use-standard-socket'
gpgsm: DBG: CreateProcess(detached) ready: hProcess=00000780 hThread=0000077C dw
ProcessID=1444 dwThreadId=476
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Gpg4winUserA\Anwendungsdaten\gnupg\pubring.kbx
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

However, the p12 import does not work yet:

C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Gpg4winUserA\Eigene Dateien>gpgsm --import Gpg4wi
nTestuserA.p12
gpgsm: total number processed: 0
gpgsm: error importing certificate: Dateiende

Again, the error might be on my side. Has anyone else here succeeded in importing a
P12 file?

Best

	Jan
