Hi Friend of the Gpg4win-Development,

there is the idea to try a webbased translation system
so we may get the translation progress for strings
more standardized and transparent.

== my suggestion
 is to try the hosting offer of

  https://weblate.org

It is Free Software and they can host it for us.
Prominent examples user: Debian.
Bonus: written in python. (*)

== Disregarded Alternatives
=== Pootle
  http://pootle.translatehouse.org/
  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pootle

+ Free Software
Drawback: no (standard) hosting offer
Bonus: +Python (*)

=== Transifex
  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transifex

-- Proprietary software & service (AFAIK an earlier software version
   was Free Software or neo-proprietary)
Promise: a larger "translation" community
(Also Python, but AFAIK no code available.)

Best Regards,
Bernhard

(*) a number of people from Gpg4win and GnuPG know Python.
     This raises chances that is we ever want to fix a problem
     we practically could. Python's track record as a language
     to implement secure application in, is good.
