Initial Comment:
Dear maintainers,
I got some little problems with openvas-client.

I am running debian-sid, 64-bit, with openvas-client from the debian repository and selfcompiled openvas-server and libs on the same machine.

Compilation worked fine, all plugins get loaded, I added a user, and I created a certificate.

But whenever I start the client as a normal user, and want to connect to the server as the created user, it failed.

The message is : Invalid Send-plugins-MD5 from server.

Strangewise, when I start the openvas-client as root, it works. But only loaded about 5993 plugins instead of 12000.

What is wrong ? What should I do ? Maybe some permissions got to be changed ???

I downloaded the plugins several times (using openvas-nvt-sync), and when I understood it correctly, they are once compiled on my system.

Maybe this helps: During this compilation of the plugins, I got errors like:

smb_func.inc: No such file available.

Please feel free to ask for every information you need.

Thanks for any help you will send me!!!

Best regards

Hans
