Working on CR#17 ( http://www.openvas.org/openvas-cr-17.html - "OTP: Make NVT 
signatures available to OpenVAS-Client" ), I will soon commit some patches. 
As the new code spans over all modules, you will need the latest revisions of 
all modules to have a compilable and (hopefully) stable version of OpenVAS.

Furthermore, the server and client cache files (server: .desc/* in plugin 
folder, client: ~/.openvas* ) should get rebuilt automatically.
If you encounter any trouble with the latest revisions, the first thing to 
check might be to (backup &) delete these files.

This somewhat unsteady state of the repository version will continue until 
completion of CR#17.
