[Openvas-devel] Discontinuing openvas-pluginstarball?

My preference would be to see:

 

- discontinue the plugin tarball

- replace it with a simple feed manager/wizard 

- the feed manager would offer the user a choice of feeds which are
registered with the OpenVAS project

 

I envision the wizard would run automatically when no feeds are configured.


 

I do agree, however, that having some simple default tests to make sure
server and client are functioning normally is a good idea.  Perhaps the
server can ship with just a few very basic tests for verification purposes.
