Initial Comment:
I have installed OpenVas 2 source packages (server and client) on Debian 4.0 sarge.

I added the plugins to the server and launched it.

I started the client and executed a scope.

I am getting the following messages in the server log:
[Sun Jan 25 17:06:29 2009][32665] openvasd 2.0.0. started
[Sun Jan 25 17:17:24 2009][32665] connection from 127.0.0.1
[Sun Jan 25 17:17:24 2009][8454] Client requested protocol < OTP/1.0 > .
[Sun Jan 25 17:17:25 2009][8454] successful login of najib from 127.0.0.1
[Sun Jan 25 17:19:50 2009][8454] Empty data string -- closing comm. channel

The client is loading the plugins from the server and connecting to the server sucessfully.
However when running a scope the progression window is not appearing and i am getting empty reports.
