Hi,
OpenVAS suite is now available in FreeBSD ports tree.
http://www.freshports.org/security/openvas-server
You can install OpenVAS by executing:
# cd /usr/ports/security/openvas-server && make install
Also, I'm making OpenBSD ports for CURRENT, too.
openvas-{server,libraries,libnasl} are okay, but openvas-plugins is not.
If you're OpenBSD user, please give it a try.
to test:
> cd
> mkdir ports
> cd ports
> sh /path/to/openvas.shar
then, add the following to /etc/mk.conf.
USE_SYSTRACE=yes
PORTSDIR_PATH=/usr/ports:/home/$YOURACCOUNTNAME/ports
then, build.
> cd openvas-libraries
> sudo make
Best regards,
