we are trying to get rid of all these inconsistencies of the old
Nessus-style behaviour with the openvas-manager concept
and the new protocol OMP (OpenVAS Management Protocol).

The omp-cli can then be used for batch-processing of Scans
while the date remain stored on the server-side by openvas-manager.
Another big advantage is that this is stateless. Which means
the client-server connection needs not to persist for the whole
time of a scan. You can just fire up a scan and come back later
and get the results (or query about the progress).

All the best

	Jan
