Please don't do this, it's bad security practice to set your LD_LIBRARY_PATH 
in such a manner.  I have a stack of research on the runtime linker due to be 
published soon but for now take a look at a recent blog post I wrote on the

I wrote this blog post for entirely unrelated reasons, but I can't really 
allow bad practice to be advocated on this list without challenge.
