This is about using the GPLv2 wmi of samba.

Current Samba has two problems:
1. GPLv3: Not evil as such, but we have still code which is GPLv2-only
2. wmi-client removed: The samba dev team planned to add some
    better stuff, but it seemed it ended with no wmi client at all.
    I didn't check for a while because of 1)
