That explains it, I only looked at the 2006 tarball. Do we consider
those scripts GPL as well?

If I understand Chandan correctly, the functionality can (more or less)
easily be provided by secpod_reg.inc with a few adjustments.

I'm in favor of removing smb_hotfixes.inc permanently once
secpod_reg.inc is patched and the scripts including smb_hotfixes.inc
have been switched to include secpod_reg.inc instead. Any objections?
