Yes, this will be 32bit RGBA graphics with alpha-channel. Such images
really improve GUI.

Ttk widgets (former Tile widgets) are part of tk8.5/8.6 These widgets can be
used together with other ordinary tk widgets. But they allow achieving an
appearance much closer to native platform widgets

Currently we have improved SVG filter and this implementation looks like a
Skencil
filter. This works well for simple formats. But in future we are going to
use other
pattern (model based) for complex formats like SVG, CDR etc, because simple
procedure oriented way is not useful for detailed implementation and
difficult for
support.

Concerning Skencil revitalizing announce I would like to make prerelease on
the end
of this week because on next week I will fly on Latinoware 2010 conference
and would
be great to show revitalized Skencil on the conference.

I have no access to Skencil website so I will post this news on
http://sk1project.org
and I hope building some Skencil packages for most popular distros.

Final Skencil release with all features discussed before I hope to complete
after the
conference.
