Hi,

for all people who used 8-bit characters in their passphrases:

WinPT prior to 1.4.1 did not transmit the passphrase to GPG
in the expected format. As a result, you need to reset the
passphrase to plain US-ASCII and use WinPT 1.4.1 to change
your passphrase to the old passphrase again (now the 8-bit
characters will be handled properly).

There is a file (English, German) 8Bit-Passphrase.txt which
describes the procedure. WinPT 1.4.1 is available at Wald
and http://winpt.gnupt.de.
