[Gpg4win-announce] Gpg4win 1.9.2 BETA Version released

Hello,

we are pleased to announce that the third 1.9 Beta
release, "Gpg4win 1.9.2 BETA" is now available
for download.

NOTE: It is planned to remove GnuPG 1 and WinPT from
Gpg4win in one of the next releases. If your use
case still requires one of these componentes and you
find no alternative inside Gpg4win, please let the Gpg4win Team
know. 

The versions 1.9.x are intended for trying out and testing
the future major version 2.0.
Adressed audience are experienced crypto users and
system administrators.

Download is available via the usual download page:

        http://www.gpg4win.de/download.html

You should carefully read and consider the hints
proveded there.


Short overview on changes compared to version 1.1:
--------------------------------------------------

- Kleopatra: The new certificate manage
  * Supports OpenPGP and S/MIME (x.509)
  * Could be used by other programs as a
    service for crypto dialogs.

- GpgEX replaces GpgEE as plugin for Internet Explorer.
  * uses Kleopatra for unified crypto dialogs.

- GpgOL: Comprehensive update
  * now supports also OpenPGP/MIME (instead of only "inline-PGP")
  * now supports also S/MIME
  * now uses Kleopatra for unified crypto dialogs

- Claws Mail: Updated to version 3.4.0


Short overview on changes compared to version 1.9.1 BETA:
--------------------------------------------------

* GpgOL, GnuPG, Installer and Kleopatra:
   Several minor and medium problems and errors were fixed.

 * Kleopatra:
   * The base libraries have been upgraded (QT 4.3 to QT 4.4 among others).
     Due to this, several errors in the GUI are gone now,
     but some others are newly introduced. Fixing these is planned for 1.9.3.
