probably yes. Strange it was able to retrieve half of the first file.
Will look into this.

I object - how will you be attractive to new developers?
Please document anyway so that even me can process the whole chain.
BTW: The autogen shell scripts of the gnupg family was something that
always helped me.

This should be documented!

Apart from this, it does not work:

$ aclocal -I m4 && autoheader && automake --gnu && autoconf
autoheader: error: AC_CONFIG_HEADERS not found in configure.ac
automake: configure.ac: required file `./install-sh' not found
automake: configure.ac: required file `./mkinstalldirs' not found
automake: configure.ac: required file `./missing' not found
automake: configure.ac: required file `./config.guess' not found
automake: configure.ac: required file `./config.sub' not found
automake: Makefile.am: required file `./INSTALL' not found

So probably I need certain versions of the autotools ?
