Thank you for replying to this post.  I will try to find another backup copy of the keyring and try to import them into WinPT.

Werner told me, this would be a sign that the keyring is corrupted
somehow. Can you import that same keyring on GNU/Linux's gpg?
Does gpg work with other operations?
