Hi,

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.17)
Gecko/20110414 Thunderbird/3.1.10
Enigmail 1.2a1pre (20110510-0229)
gpg4win 2.1.0 (gnupg 2.0.17)

In gpg.conf I have enabled the option:
personal-digest-preferences SHA256
I have also tried alternatively with
personal-digest-preferences SHA512

When signing an e-mail the digest is SHA1

(On an Intel Mac running MacOSX 10.6.7 and MacGPG2-2.0.17 with the
current Enigmail nightly build, digest is SHA256 or SHA512, as enabled
in gpg.conf).

What am I doing wrong under Windows 7?

I am just trying to learn basic settings and options for GnuPG under
Windows.
