I'm not sure what you mean.  The configuration of InteProxy has nothing to do 
with how the client tries to use it.  E.g. to use it as http proxy you only 
need to tell the client to do so.  On unix it's usually enough to set the 
http_proxy environmen variable.  For java, you can specify it with the 
Options -DproxySet=true -DproxyHost=localhost -DproxyPort=64609  (assuming 
inteproxy defaults).
