I just tried the Ubuntu Skencil package for Ubuntu 7.04, and I get the
error messages which you reported. The Ubuntu Skencil package for Ubuntu
7.04 has been build against Python 2.5. This is an error of the Ubuntu
packagers ("Masters of the Universe" MOTU). The bug is known to the
Ubuntu developers, see
