Werner did this, but please also note that I usually take care that
the fully automatic way works.

$ autoreconf -f -i -s

Still something you probably want to document, but mainly because it
is a relatively new feature, and many projects are probably not set up
to make this work correctly (iow: they are setup incorrectly).

autoconf is not as hard as many people make it...
