Initial Comment:
Windows2k and Sylpheed 2.3.1 (from gpg4win 1.0.3)

excessive use of memory:
select two folders one with lots of messages the other with no messages.

In the tree view:
10  Select the full folder - look at memory use (task manager)
20  Select the empty folder - check memory
30 goto 10

with 904 messages in my full folder
each time I return to the full folder the memory used increases by about 64 meg
it never reduces and eventually the system swapping killes the machine.

I have also seen memory increase just swapping between two messages - but this is a lot smaller increment.
