Yes this was accidentally introduced in 2.2.2 as Windows XP is no longer a 
primary test platform for us. But we still want to support it so this has been 
fixed.

Please stick with 2.2.1 for now. We are currently in the final phase of our 
2.2.3 release preparations and will probably publish it this week with and it 
will include a fix for this problem.
