Windows XP in general is no longer supported. But thanks for bringing this to 
our attention. Now that you say it, we should move GpgOL also into the 
category of "No longer supported on Windows XP" as is Kleopatra.

Even if we would make GpgOL compatible again the UI actions of GpgOL would not 
work because they require a library that has dropped support for XP years ago.

We will only support plain GnuPG with GPA / GPGEX on Windows XP from now on. 
And even that might change in the future.

I'll update the installer and documentation.

Yes IRC requires as an anti-spam measure that you are registered with nickserv 
before you can talk to the channel. A mail to this list was the right thing.

I hope it's not too disappointing but you really need to switch away from XP. 
Especially for online communication like secure email!
