Initial Comment:
Hello,

I am currently using pgp4win 2.1.0 on several PCs with success: XP SP3 32b and 7 SP1 32 b. On another PC, under 7 SP1 64 b, I was running without problem pgp4win 2.1.0. Recently, I discovered that Kleopatra was unable to open, either from the program list or from Windows Explorer ("Encrypt file"...). In the latter case, I noticed following error message:
"GpgEX - Cannot connect to the GnuPG user interface (Kleopatra): IPC connect call failed)."

I order to attempt to solve this issue, I uninstalled pgp4win 2.1.0, cleaned temp files and registries with CCleaner and uploaded and installed pgp4win 2.2.0, including GPA module. Although the latter GPA module found my encrypting keys without difficilty, Kleopatra does not open and, when launched through Windows Explorer, produces the same error message. I have checked that my running antivirus software, namely Kaspersky Pure 13.0.2.558 (f), placed all pgp4win modules under "safe applications". Surprisingly, when launching "Encrypt file" from Windows Explorer, I notice that "Kleopatra" appears as "safe application" on the list of running applications but, after ca. 3 s, disappears.

Finally, I wish to mention that on the PC where I face this problem (7 SP1 64 b) I have not made any recent software installation, besides Windows and Kaspersky Pure updates.

I would greatly appreciate any help and suggestion for unblocking Kleopatra on this PC.
Yours sincerely,

Daniel
