Right, if you are tecnically interested you can see the packages excluded in 
the Vanilla installer at [1] (Line 44 - 152) It contains a Pinentry but a 
variant that only uses native Windows API and not the Qt based pinentry-qt.

We are still working on that, it is planned that we release a fully featured 
portable Version (including kleopatra/gpa etc. at ~August)
This will then probably be released as just a Zip file and not as an installer 
option (as the idea is to get rid of the installer ;) ).

Yes there are plans for that (see Answer to 2) but we have not yet decided how 
we will go about this and how we can integrate it in our build process. With 
regards to variants, if we release a "one size fits all package" users can 
just take the released package and strip it down to their needs if necessary 
so this will be our main goal. I am not saying that we don't want to or won't 
offer light/vanilla versions of a portable package but I can't promise it. 

Do you have reasons besides the size of the installation for smaller variants 
of a portable package?
