I don't think this is a fair response.  I agree that L's e-mail isn't as
tightly focused and actionable as we'd all like our bug reports to be,
but telling people they don't deserve to use free software without
fixing it is just going to drive away users.  The more users, the more engaged
users we have, even if many of the users aren't engaged at the level
you'd like.  Please don't drive users away; instead, help them figure
out how to engage productively.
